Figure 1: Composition of U.yaschenkoi venom, studied at transcriptomic level (extracted from replete venom glands). This venom contains the following families (classified by activity): cytolytic peptides, AMP (pandinine-1-like), calcine, La1-like, sodium channel toxins (NaTx), scorpine-like, potassium channel toxins (alpha-KTx), anionic peptides, toxin-like peptides and proteins active in cellular processes. “No match” corresponds to 7 % of the EST, and hypothetical proteins (hypoth.) corresponds to 11%.
