VenomZone is dedicated to centralizing comprehensive information on venoms at the proteomics level. It primarily facilitates access to expertly curated venom protein entries from the UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot Tox-Prot knowledgebase, including their molecular targets, by offering multiple access points such as taxonomy, protein activity/function, protein family classifications, and PTMs. Covering six major venomous taxa (snakes, spiders, scorpions, cone snails, insects, and sea anemones) VenomZone aims to reveal the detailed composition of venoms. Additionally, it provides links to widely used web resources and tools essential for venom and toxin research.
