VenomZone is a web-resource regrouping information on venom protein families, taxonomy on venomous species and activities of venom proteins (mostly with toxic activity). Each activity or family page gives an easy access to UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot venom protein entries.
The VenomZone project is being developed in parallel with the toxin annotation program (Tox-Prot) of the Swiss-Prot group at the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics by:
